The Sai Baba temple located in Mettupalayam road in Coimbatore is known as Sri Naga Sai Temple. A must for Baba devotees who visit Coimbatore, the temple organizes Anna Dhanam (distribution of Rice) for devotees and poor people on a regular basis.

Kovai Kutralam Waterfalls is located inside the reserved forest area on the outskirts of Coimbatore, about 35 Km from it. One can take the battery operated van to reach the foot hills from where one has to trek on foot a distance of about 1.5 kms. The terrain is good and trekking on the mountains is very pleasant since one can enjoy the greenery and view. The trek is not difficult for normal persons and one finally reaches the waterfalls on the Siruvani river. The water is chill and sweet and upon entering the water, one doesn’t feel like coming out since it is a refreshing experience.

This is a beautiful dam near Pollachi on the way to Walparai. Constructed in the late 60's it stands in the calm foothills of Vaalpaarai in the Anamalai hills of Western Ghats. The landscape around the dam is very nice with a park in it. The Vethathiri Maharishi's Arutperumjothi nagar in the near vicinity has serenity. A nice picnic spot for family and friends!

Located near the State highway between Gobichettipalayam and Sathyamangalam in the tiger reserve forest, the water from the dam is mainly used for irrigation purposes. It is about 70 Kms from Coimbatore, a 1.5 Hour drive. The water source is from the beautiful Bhavani river. The dam constructed using stones, iron bars and precious lead in the Bhavani river in 1125 AD is a wonder. Ideal spot for adventure seekers to visit, the thick forest area surrounding the dam is home to wild animals like tiger and elephants. The amazing landscape, lush greenery and the water channels from the river are beautiful sights. The name 'Kodiveri' originated from 'kodivari' in Tamil meaning Tiger, which represents the forest area around the Dam where a large number of tigers lived.

This temple is located on a hill. and it is a great experience to climb the stairs to reach the shrine. The view and the ambience at the top is breath-taking. It is a half-hour ride from the R.S.Puram locality. Since the way is through a forest it makes it very cool. The temple is dedicated to lord Muruga. There are also a few other shrines. A good place to visit.
